Description
Leo Fender did not play guitar. He was a radio repairman who approached instrument design as an engineering problem, and in 1954 he produced the Stratocaster — a body shape so correct that it has been continuously in production for over seventy years and copied by virtually every manufacturer on earth. This blueprint rendering documents the original with the technical precision it deserves: full body outline with contour cut geometry, pickup routing cavities, tremolo block and bridge assembly, neck pocket dimensions, and tuner peg layout — all drawn with the annotation weight of a proper manufacturing specification.
The guitar that defined electric music, rendered as a drafting document.
