Martin D-28 Blueprint — Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Technical Drawing Digital Download
$22.00
Ninety years of continuous production. One of the great instruments. This precision blueprint rendering of the Martin D-28 dreadnought traces every structural decision: spruce top, rosewood body, X-brace engineering, drafted in the technical ink it deserves.
Description
The Martin D-28 is not the most played acoustic guitar in history by accident. C.F. Martin introduced the dreadnought body to answer a practical demand: a guitar loud enough for a band without amplification, with the low-end projection that folk, bluegrass, and country players needed. The D-28 refined that answer over nine decades of continuous production.
This blueprint rendering draws the Martin D-28 as the design document it has never had: full body elevation from headstock to end pin, cross-section callouts for bracing pattern and top geometry, headstock and tuning machine detail, scale length diagram, and the body proportion studies that made the dreadnought the dominant acoustic form.
