Description

The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star has been in continuous production since 1917, making it the longest-running athletic shoe in history. Originally a basketball shoe — endorsed by player-turned-salesman Chuck Taylor from 1921 onward — it became the default footwear of rock musicians, artists, and teenagers across the twentieth century without changing its design in any meaningful way. This blueprint rendering documents the shoe that earned that permanence: full side-profile layout, sole construction and stitch geometry, toe cap curvature, eyelet spacing and count, ankle patch placement, and vulcanized rubber edge detail — drawn with the same precision as the factories that have produced it for over a century.

The most democratic shoe ever made, rendered as a specification document.
