Description

Before Nintendo, before Sega, there was the Atari 2600. Launched in 1977 with its faux wood-grain panel and six black toggle switches, it was the machine that convinced American living rooms that video games were here to stay. This blueprint rendering treats the 2600 as the industrial design milestone it was: full top-deck layout, switch bank and position callouts, cartridge port cross-section, controller jack geometry, and the distinctive ribbed casing detail — all annotated in the dry, exacting language of an engineering archive.

Nostalgia rendered as draftsmanship.
